Hello, the man who’s Too Lit, buzzing the nation all the way from the East, Icebeatzz. Welcome to a special edition of TALK WITH US by RADARCharts. We are so happy to have you with us. So, what’s your real name?
My real name is Chidera Egbo.
Your call-out tag always makes me curious: ‘You Too Lit.’ How did you come up with it?
-My tag “Yuu Too LiT” came from the day I checked the dictionary and came across the word “lit.” I was like, "Icebeatzz, you too lit."
So, what motivated your profession as a producer?
My motivation as a producer came from the love of music, and I used to be a DJ.
Were you certain you’d come this far in the industry, coming from a city where breakouts are not as frequent as usual?
I’m a positive person, so I always try to stay positive in everything I do.
Let’s talk about one of your biggest bodies of work so far, ‘SAINT OBI.’ How did that linkup to being on EZIOKWU happen?
The Saint Obi linkup happened when Odumodublvck was in Enugu, and a friend called me to sample some beats. The rest was history.
Ever had a moment in your career where you felt like giving up?
I’ve always been positive, even when things weren’t going so great.
We know the music industry has its ups and downs. How have you managed to keep going to this point?
Shout out to the real ones around me—my team, fans, and family. They keep me going.
What does it entail for an artist to work with IceBeatzz?
