Afro-Soul Highlife sensation Okal, also known as Omobosola Karimat Alaka, is set to captivate audiences with the release of her new single "Clock." Dropping on August 16th, 2024, this single serves as the first offering from her highly anticipated EP, State of Mind: Into the Verse.

The State of Mind: Into the Verse EP, set to release on August 23rd, 2024, is a project that has been years in the making. Okal began crafting this body of work during the lockdown in 2020, finishing the recordings by the end of 2022. With 11 tracks initially created, Okal meticulously selected the best for the final EP, ensuring a cohesive and impactful musical experience. "Clock" was the first track she wrote for the project, inspired  to work with Elack after listening to Omah Lay's "You" video.
