About Me

I am Tamilore O.T.A, an artist crafting music for quiet hearts. My mission is to bridge the gap between soulful R&B vocals and the vibrant pulse of Afrobeats. Whether I’m writing about the ache of a broken heart or the joy of finding oneself, my goal is to give a voice to the emotions that people often hold inside. Through my music and the Quiet Hearts Club, I aim to foster a community where every emotion has a place.

Musical Journey

My foundation was built on my mother’s eclectic CD collection. Growing up, our home was a melting pot of R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Afrobeats, and Pop. Iconic albums like Aaliyah’s Aaliyah and 9ice’s Gongo Aso weren't just background noise; they were the soundtrack to my childhood and the architects of my musical taste.

This deep-rooted passion has led to some incredible milestones, including being featured on BBC Introducing (UK) and taking the stage at Rema's concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS). I am currently honing my craft under the mentorship of six-time Grammy nominee Phazehop, and I am grateful for the ongoing support of the Dreams Music Hall team.

My sound is Afro-R&B with an Alt-Soul heart. It’s a delicate blend of soulful, intimate vocals laid over contemporary Afrobeats and Pop percussion. Every record is intentionally crafted to be cinematic—music designed to be felt, not just heard. It is the official soundtrack for the Quiet Hearts Club.

I don’t aim to replicate any one artist. Instead, I take the soulfulness of R&B, the rhythmic heartbeat of Afrobeats, and the raw honesty of Alt-Soul to build a sound that is uniquely mine. My influences are simply the foundation for the original stories I tell for the Quiet Hearts Club.
